DDC Controls Technician
Summary:
As a Energy Controls Team member you will be supporting both end users and mechanical contractor customers for their DDC system needs. You will leverage your HVAC and BAS systems experience and will be responsible for the installation, start-up, commissioning and troubleshooting of DDC Systems.

- Implementing software code and managing all aspects of the software code delivery and commissioning for commercial HVAC control systems and Building Automation Systems
- Ability to program projects with various levels of complexity, including custom control programs and sequence of operations
- Capable of performing network troubleshooting, database troubleshooting and repair programming.
- Collaborates with engineering team on system configuration, network and software requirements, graphics, programming and sequence of operations as it pertains to assigned projects.

- Reviewing customer requests for proposal and control upgrade requests, both written and verbal.
- Inventorying of equipment and systems to be controlled with BAS (take offs) and provide detailed lists of
equipment/systems for job costing and sales proposals. - Supplying Vendors with detailed lists of parts and components needed to control equipment/systems associated with
requests for proposal. - Calling on equipment manufacturers, Reps, and Mechanical Contractors to gather information needed for design of BAS.
- Design activities utilizing direct digital controls.
- Develop the sequences of operation which meets the project requirements.
- Review contract documents and conducting job surveys.
- Create installation drawings, submittal drawings, as-built drawings, and transition to service.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, communicating with staff,
providing customer feedback and solutions. - Read and understand blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals, software/system programs, and operation/product
manuals. - Submit time and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
